This DJ mix is influenced by the recent Onra ‘Long Distance’ album. I’ve really enjoyed playing it and the 80′s references remind me of listening to lots of pirate radio whilst growing up in London as a teenager. I could never afford the records in this DJ mix when I was growing up, as the little cash I had went on Hip Hop vinyl. I ended up buying most of these in my early 20′s from a second hand record shop in Romford, Essex. The tunes bring back great memories for me but I think also sound good today.
